I can't believe I actually got a thank you from a family tonight. They obviously were not the routine inhabitants of our fair city here on the river. It could not have came at a better time. I'm getting tired, too many one day off stretches. And my patience for ignorance is wearing thin! Need a break. Any suggestions?

Events of Late

i know it's been a while readers and I am sorry. Just as usual,I have been busy and have let the blogging fall behind. What's been going on you may ask, well quite a bit I must say!
Lets see, Bryce is doing great and getting bigger by the day. His vocabulary is growing exponentially. He is in bed most nights no later than nine PM and sleeps til at least seven AM. And of course he has Mamaw and Papaw wrapped tight around his finger.
Work is going great, Trauma season is in full swing and we have been busy. Seeing a lot and doing a lot. They say that our numbers are down. I don't know, maybe so. All I know is there are nights when we run and run! But that is good. I'd rather be like that than sitting and staring at each other.
As far as the custody thing goes, we were nearing an agreement where I would have full custody and she would have every other weekend unsupervised. Didn't like that but what can I do until it was shown that her living situation proves to be a danger to him.
And then I was informed that she was yet again in the custody of law enforcement. Seems that things keep going wrong for her. But of course it's someone else's fault, as usual.
We go to court in October about custody, but she doesn't go to court on the other deal until after our court date. So unless someone post some bail I don't foresee her being there. And there is another legal issue out there floating around for her to deal with.
It's amazing how someone can swear that they are telling you the truth, and then you find out that their truth is just made up of more and more lies. At what point do the lies become their reality? Oh well it's her life, let her live it. I'm just glad I am as far out of it as possible. Not gonna be sucked into that hell storm again.

Hey! How you doing?

Hey my friends, readers, and assorted other visitors to my 'lil spot on the 'Net. I know it's been a while since I posted. Just been busy with life. As you can see Bryce is getting bigger. Think he is gonna be tall like me, I hope so.
In about 3 weeks i'll be going to court about the custody thing. See how it turns out. Of course would have been there sooner except for some serious foot dragging on the other parties part. It's amazing how some people can ignore a court order and not even worry about it. But I've seen it happen before and wasn't really surprised by it. Guess it'll be up to the judge to see it as he will.
Work is good. Busy right now. Hoping for a dayshift position soon. Would help out alot with the baby. And of course nights are for the young people. I've done them for eighteen years, and i'm tired!
Well thats about it for me. I promise i'll do better from now on. Especially now that I have a new reader that has taken interest in some of my old post. Drop a line and say HI.
